Air Vent Control Knob for 1959 Comanche 250

Air Vent Control Knob for 1959 Comanche 250

Postby Patrick Mealey » Thu May 18, 2017 1:39 am

Hi,

I am missing one, and only one, of the air vent control knobs on my 1959 Comanche 250. There are 3 other knobs in the airplane. I am perfectly willing to replace all of the knobs as they look a bit retro.

I would imagine that a commercial knob for some electronic gizmo would work

Was wondering if anyone could recommend a suitable replacement.

Thanks in advance,

Patrick

Any knob with a set screw for a 1/4" shaft will work. These are readily available as most old stereo equipment used them. A quick internet search should yield some nice choices.

Thanks!

Jameco has a plethora of nicely finished aluminum knobs which will do the job.

I wonder if I will have to redo my weight and balance? ;-)

BTW, nice uniform!
