I'm looking for the old Harlan small nose tire STC paperwork. I think I can get a field approval for my 180, if my IA can review the STC contents. I can pull the cover page off the .gov web site only. Anyone who can help me out, my email is hangarhound6@gmail.com if you can scan and email STC to me.

I like the looks of the smaller tire and I don't operate off unimproved fields, and I'd prefer to have my bird configured legally with it on... :)

With a single, I have heard that it will slow you down as the nose gear no longer fills the opening behind the engine.

I believe the STC was only for twins. The paper work for the twin I was a partner in said nothing about singles..
