24-180 Shoulder Harness options.

Howdy, I'm new to the ICS, comanches, pipers, heck low wings are kind of a new thing to me..

I'm in the process of buying what could be the lowest time 24-180 around. 1837TT.
I'm really looking forward to it from everything I've read. The only thing it's missing is Shoulder harnesses.

They are a no go item for me. I totaled my Cessna 175 on June 19th, the BAS shoulder harness kit most likely saved My wife and I's lives. We both walked away with just bruises. Plane is on it's way to becoming beer cans.

So this Comanche will have them. I see one source of inertia reel shoulder harnesses, Alpha Aviation. What are my other options? I don't want fixed harnesses. My experience in cessna's was you tend to loosen them up to move around, operate the flaps, etc and they're not tight when they're needed most.

I installed Alpha's in my 250. I thought it was the best value. The install should be a 1 day job.

Be aware that you will want to check the fit before installation as short pilots with the seat far forward can have a problem with the location of the shoulder belt across their neck.
