Webco Push-Pull cables warning sticker

Hey everyone,

I'm having a local sign shop make up 3x3" stickers to go in each wheel well and inside the gear motor box warning future mechanics to not lubricate my Webco Teflon-coated landing gear push-pull conduits. It will be a much prettier version of what's attached.

Please let me know if you are interested in a set for your aircraft. I will update with the price per set of three once I know what it is.

Thanks Matt, I'm interested as I have the Webco push-pulls installed. For what it's worth... Heritage Aero told me that even the factory conduits are NOT supposed to be lubricated. Cliff told me that it's common for mechanics to want to lubricate them because the conventional thinking is "if it moves lube it". In this case he said all lubricating does is cause dirt to stick to the grease and then get worked inside promoting corrosion and wear. So - really I would say your stickers apply to ALL Comanches not just those with the Webco Teflon conduits.

Might be a good idea for those who have nylon rollers to put a similar decal on the flap tracks.

The price drops considerably with the volume! $10 total per set!

Everyone,

Stickers went out yesterday for those who have paid!

Andrew, it looks like all the sets I had printed are spoken for but have not received payment on the last two sets. If one of them falls through, I'll let you know. If there is enough interest to order another 4 sets or more, I'm happy to do that but need at least a dozen to get the price to come down reasonably.
