P-Lead Filters

P-Lead Filters

Postby Kristin Winter » Tue Dec 18, 2012 5:25 am

Maggie's P-leads to the magnetos are deteriorating. They run into a filter box on the firewall (p/n 14311-037/38), which are not available. Can the filters be replaced with something on the market, or do I even need them in this day of more modern avionics. Any thoughts on the best way to replace this bit of wiring.

Bill,

I believe the operable question is: "Does Piper require them?"

Did you mean to be so smug on your first posting on this forum? If so, did it feel good to belittle me? Did you think better of yourself today as a result? If so, enjoy it with my compliments and Merry Christmas.
