Left Main Strut

Hey Guys/Gals I need some help in finding (1) Left Main Gear Strut Assembly Part # 20798-06.It is a 1959 PA 24-250 Serial # 1260. Hope someone can pull a rabbit out of the Hat on this. Let me Know, Sam 432 853 1205 Thanks.

Last week there was an auction of a FBO at Tulsa, OK. There were lots of Comanche and Twin Comanche parts, both new and used, sold. The advertising showed pictures of lots of landing gear parts. Starman Bros, who seem to specialize in aircraft related auctions, managed the sale.

I presume the shops who specialize in Comanches were there. You might be able to contact Starman Bros. and find if your needed part was sold and follow up to the buyer. Home office number for Starman Bros is 402 592 1933. I did some proxy business with one of their on site people who was very helpful and knows airplanes. Call Steve at (402) 681 6456.

Chances are Webco got some of the stuff. If not, then perhaps Clifton Aero and/or Heritage. I would start calling around. Starman isn't too likely to want to go through all their tickets to identify who bought what Comanche stuff.
