IO-390 or IO360 STC for pa-24-180

Postby Bryan Bowlsbey » Tue Apr 05, 2011 4:13 am

I know of two 180 owners, (including me), that would be very interested in a IO-390 or IO-360 STC.

If Miller could put 2 IO-360's in place of the IO-320's on my Twin Comanche - it doesn't seem much of a stretch to convert an already 0-360 to an IO-360 with a little more HP.
Especially to an airframe already certified for an IO-540.
And with a few other mod's, for an IO-720!

Probably all in finding the FAA guy who's truly "here to help".

Sounds like fun, but Good Luck!
