That will take you to the thread directly. Sure looks like an ICS letter, and it is on ICS letterhead AND, WAIT FOR IT....it is signed by Dave Fitzgerald for the ICS Technical Committee....sounds like an ICS response to me. If you wanted more than that, you should have spoken up at the time. At this point the FAA is considering all of the comments before publishing the final rule. They do not respond or argue, or even tip their hand during this process, so you, like the rest of us, will have wait.

I rushed to judgement after reading the recent discussion between members of the Airworthiness Committee at COF. And, yes, as Pat pointed out here I had a copy and complemented Dave Fitzgerald on his syntax at the chat forum where he distributed it. I shall be more respectful in the future.
