mixture control cable

anyone know of an STC'ed mixure control cable? My plane is sitting on the ground several hour away. Piper wants >14 weeks and >$800 for a new one; the aftermarket from Webco requires a field approval 337, which is not so much of a problem--there have been several obtained, but the time involved from the Little Rock FSDO is pretty prohibitive. Like, lots of months. The only alternative to an aftermarket cable that I have run across is a used cable, which I'm not real enthused about.

Hi Rich,

Have you looked at McFarlane? All my controls came from them and I like them better than the originals. Last one I bought was a prop control and it was roughly $300 and they are approved.

Good luck, Don

Thanks, Don. Did try them, but they only have a mixture cable for a carbureted engine, mine is fuel injected
