I got the PMA electric fuel pump from McFarland, and was very unimpressed. I will be sending it back.

Back to square one....
The electric fuel pump that is in the aircraft is a BENDIX P/N 400528.

Does anybody know where I can have this pump rebuilt or buy the rebuild kit?

One of the isolation rubber mounts needs replacement too........

Don,
What is the kit number or any other information you can give me for a Dukes rebuild. I've got one in the plane, age?????, another is a spare, but don't know how old or any other info. It came with the plane.
Thanks,
Steve

Bendix Aux. Fuel Pump

Postby tomburke1 » Thu Apr 15, 2010 3:00 am

To my knowledge the Bendix is an orphan and there are no parts available. Piper has a kit to replace it with a Dukes unit. The part number for the kit is 760791. (It might be superseded) If the kit isn't available, it can be cobbled together from the parts discribed in the kit.
