Lord mounts

Postby Eddie K. N7439P » Tue Jan 19, 2010 1:13 am

The new lord engine mounts are in. Installed the J-3804-41 to go with the 3-blade McCauley. J-3804-20 if you have the original 2-blade. What a differnece! From first start-up, taxi, run-up and while lowering rpm during cruise. Could never have imagined new rubber isolators would be such night and day. It's been quit the year, bought a plane, got my license, assisted on the annual. Fun, fun. Sent a story and pics into the magizine.

Eddie,

Do you base at 21D when in Minnesota?

Yes I do. I'm renting hanger 41E from Matt Ness.

Back in the mid 80's I flew out of Mayer Aviation. Is Eddie Mayer still around?

I'm new to Woodbury and am not familier with him. If I cross paths with him I'll be sure to pass along a hello.
