Right Main Gear Strut Housing

My mechanic tells me that I need a right hand main gear strut housing. Does anyone know where I can get a new one? My mechanic tells me the part number is 1-20752-09

Why new? Send it to S&B Industries in Salt Lake City. (801) 261-4076.

Webco bought a few new ones from an auction Piper had in December. They may still have some of them to sell.

Hi Kris,

Have you had occasion to use the s&b services? The aeroventure comanche has a busted trunion. Any idea of turnaround time? Or exchange?

Yes, but it was about 20 years ago. I think I saw someone post recently that the turn around was about three weeks.

I may have that strut; it has been welded but should be scrtinized as to whether it is the legal repair from S&B. I'll send a photo to Bruce [S&B] and let you know.
