exhaust stacks

The exhaust is so close to the cowling that they are burning holes in the cowlings.
Can you wrap the pipes to prevent this or powder coat the exhaust.
I am getting my cowls repaired but I don't want this to happen again. This has been viewed several times without any suggestions. Is mine the only twin Comanche with a problem with tight cowlings

Did you find a solution? I’m curious if the engine mount isolators are old and sagging? Saw one in the shop with the same problem a couple weeks back.
