Fuel quantity PA24- 250

Postby Mark Lund » Sat Jun 17, 2017 5:16 am

I have a 1964 PA24. 90 gallons of fuel in 4 tanks. One gauge. Seems the quantity is very inaccurate. Any fix for this. Mark

In what way is it being inaccurate? Is it bouncing all over the place? Constantly low-high? Doesn't move? Without having more accurate information it could be wiring, ground, the probe, the sending unit, the gauge, ect..

Air Parts of Lock Haven will overhaul and there is a particular way it needs to be reinstalled - see Service manual.
