I've seen some old threads regarding a Whelen rotating beacon that had a Part number change. What current Whelen OR other brand is recommended? I think it was a Kristin Winter's beacon that was super bright...

Lots of hits if you put whelen in search box on upper left - some good photos of problem with Moat
Here are the #s from Kristin and me
"We have your email from last year where you said you installed whelen 70900-04

We are still struggling with why ours fit so differently since Whelen recommended it as a drop in replacement ... they did give us the new model and different part number of 90520-55"

I had searched "Whelen" but was wondering if (Since the moat issue) Whelen has corrected the problem with another Part number/version that members were aware of? Thanks for your help.
