Looking for a pre-purchase inspection near Traverse City Mi

Can someone recommend a good mechanic to conduct a pre-purchase inspection on a PA-24 250 in the Traverse City Area?

Smart to do you homework - too often folks are on this Forum asking for post-purchase-surprise help.

In my opinion it is well worth the cost to bring someone in who does this all the time. I suggest Cliff Wilewski from Heritage Aero in Rockford IL There may or may not be someone closer with the skills and since I'm in TX that is entirely possible. http://www.heritageaero.com/

Another who frequents this site is Kristin Winter and she typically does a log book review prior to doing eyes-on review. She can likely tell you how many don't pass that test - unless a person is looking for a project. You can find her under the Pathfinder Members Tab on the Home page. She is seriously smart and experienced. Aviation Atty, A&P/IA and ATP. She maintains her own Twin and others with owner-assisted annuals. I keep trying to recruit her to move to TX but NoCal is her home and she's sticking to it. She does regularly travel on business so you never know when she is in a particular area.

I live in Traverse City, and I have a PA 24-180, and Cherry Capital Aviation does my maintenance and several others, they do a good job,231-941-1740, talk to Kent Stiner,
