Question on name of engine for 260 C

On my hyper 260 C I have something called shallow throat engine. Is that the correct name. also I have 4000 hours on the engine, 900 since overhaul. Would I overhaul this engine again or would be required to get a new one?

That is a new one on me, but perhaps Charlie Melot will enlighten us. I am only aware of Narrow Deck and Wide Deck Lycomings that can have the same model number.
