have owned and flown three PA30's over the pass forty years and have 6000 +

hours in make. My wife and I fell like it's time to down size and soon get out of

flying. The twin comanche has been a great airplane and has been fun to fly, but all

good things has to come to end. The airplane is one of the last PA30's made S/N 1994

and the last one was S/N 2000. I would like to sell or trade for a PA24 180 or PA28R

Sounds like you've had a great time with the Twin. I may make the same move in the future ... or perhaps a 140. I'll be interested to hear how this works out for you.

IM trying to get out of aviation before the FAA tells me I have too! After over forty five years of flying (forty years in a twin) I feel this will be the start and by taking small steps it want hurt as bad. I'll still be flying just not as fast.

IM very sorry about the delay, I just now found your post. The wiggins anti-ice is de-ice on the propeller only.

I have a Comanche 180, 1959, it has Robinson STOL features about 800hrs Sfmoh, new prop spinner, STEC auto pilot with alt hold, IFR certified, around 5000 hrs airframe, flys real well! I have flown it to Florida twice from Michigan, like you I just had my 70 birthday and I do not want the Feds to tell me to quit! The last trip to Florida the SkyTec starter failed so that is new, I am retired airline pilot and I keep the maintenance up. It has lots of mods also, new piper stab horn, mags, plugs, and harness.
