Hartsell propeller AD.

anyone recommend a prop shop in central Texas where I can have my 2 blade hub inspected at a reasonable price? est. are $1800-1900 locally. a friend said "it shouldn't cost over $800. Its a 500 hr. AD inspection.
As an alternative, pls recommend a prop change to rid this AD as another solution

Thx for your reply. I m not at the hangar to retrieve model numbers, however, I know it's a 2 blade Hartsell with the 5yr. Hub inspection.

No offense to your friend, but if he is giving you advise on how much it should cost, why don't you give him the prop and a check for $800 and have him get it done for that! Otherwise, you need to call around and find the best deal (prices have gone up). The shipping or lack therof needs to be added to the total price, so a local shop with no shipping or courtesy pickup may be a better deal than a far away shop when shipping is considdered.
