Master brake cylinder leaks

I have noticed small amounts of HYD fluid around the bottom of the left master cylinder and at one line connection point on my 1966 Turbo twin Comanche. Do these issues normally require a new cylinder or rebuild/changing of "O" rings? Any recommendations of shops/mechanics in WI, NE, or SD who are very well versed with the Twin Comanche? Thanks

Yes, these do occasionally need attention. Mine were repaired with new o-rings but it took 4 attempts at two different shops. If I had it to do over again, I'd buy new because the labor made repair uneconomical and I dislike the repetitive downtime.

Great shop up that way is Heritage Aero at Rockford IL. Owner Cliff is an ICS Tech Advisor.

A cleveland "O" ring rebuild kit from spruce is $32.50 (each). I'm going to attempt to do this with my I/A this weekend. A new master cylinder is $2370 (each). Cleveland must really think their parts are special. For $65.00 I'll try the rebuild first.
