My "rollers" look the same. They are mostly flat on 1 side and do not roll nor do I think they ever did. I have adjusted mine several times and when I asked my IA about it he chuckled. Been there done that he said. I came to the conclusion that with the flat spots the lever arm is shorter, therefore making the adjustment a little more tricky. Shorter arm equals less actuator travel with the same throttle travel. I am planning on making some new rollers when I get a chance. I like the idea of bolting them in. I have also noticed that there is a wire that threads through a hinge type connector between the throttle quadrant and the panel. This wire will work its way out against the side plate and my throttle quadrant seems slightly loose. When this happens, the gear switches seem to be less consistent. I am going to replace the wire with a larger diameter and secure both ends to see if this helps.
