Hi Chief,

In the group of Comanche owners, there is, no doubt, someone who will be wanting the tube. That said one issue which may be limiting interest is that Piper drilled the holes in the tubes slightly undersized so that they could be custom fit to the matching horn. In theory your tube would not be a precise fit for any other horn. There have been several comments on this or the other site suggesting that people have used mismatched tubes and horns with success. That said, the tubes just aren't that expensive so why go to all that labor for a used part?

Good luck, Don

Michael, I replaced them for two reasons, when all this AD talk started I ordered a new Tube and Horn from Piper over a year ago, so I had a new set, secondly, I am not a big fan of tearing apart airplanes in annuals, especially things like the rear of the plane, that said, the new Horn and Tube guarantees 1000 HRS of good flying with no more inspections.

Who is making the new horn and torque tube? It was my understanding that no one was making the horn. Where are you guys getting them and how much are they going for?

Thanks
