Hub Caps for dual sided forks

You have two choices:

a) wait for Hans to return from vacation and see if he can let you have the drawing from which you make the owner produced part. It involves cutting two discs, one for each wheel. Then assembling a set of support posts that match the screw locations in your wheel hub. You get the discs powder coated and you have hubcaps;
b) call LoPresti and buy a set of their hubcaps for the Comanche. They are a good product, and the only frustration is that the little spring loaded door that should be above the tire valve isn't located over the valve so you still must remove the hubcap to install air. Otherwise they are a quick installation with an STC at a reasonable price.

Pat: Some of the PA30 wheels have three threaded holes near the rim that allow Hans' hubcaps to be fastened directly to the wheels without changing the tapped thru bolts of the wheels. I have the double fork landing gear and it is necessary to get the proper grade of aluminum for the hubcaps that is "springy" enough to accomodate deflection of the hubcap while sliding it by one of the forks of the landing gear. (You make a radial cut on the disc that allows this.)
Hans has the spec on the proper grade of aluminum needed.

The wife and I are back from Hawaii where we celebrated our 50th. Slowly ramping back up to speed with too much backlog to take care of.

The hubcaps are of my design, and therefore hold the rights to them. They are not a property of ICS.

For a copy of the design report, approved 337, and the right to make your own, I charge $25.

There are two different configurations, the 40-32 wheel, and the 40-90 wheel. I have some made up and charge $100 (which includes the report).

There is no STC, PMA or other approvals other than a copy of my approved 337. It has to be installed as a owner produced part per your own 337.
