AD 70-15-18 Mitchel autopilot

Hello, I am a new Comanche 260C owner doing my first annual, does anyone no if the AD 70-15-18 on the autopilot would apply to a 1971 comanche, my logs have no reference to this AD at all. we are trying to see if this AD applies. any info would
help.

What is the specific make and model of the autopilot in question. I believe that Mitchell was part of, or preceded Century, and they or Autopilots Central in Tulsa could answer your question with more specific information. How do you like your 260C?

Dave, The autopilot is an auto control III we have been in contact with century there answer is even though the plane is a 1971 and the AD is 1970 it still applys. The AD mentions if it has the crimped sleeves it should resolve the Ad, which it does,
but there is no paper work or information stating that we are incompliance.
I really love the 260C I had a Dakota for 14 years which I liked but this bird is hands down a real air plane.
