Pipr Aztec Yokes

Saw a picture in the EAA magazine today that shows a panel redo. Looking at the rams horn Yokes on the 1973 aztec
makes me wonder if these are the same yokes installed in the newer model Comanches.
The yoke has the sloping inward uprights and the tube looks like the same as the Comanche/Navajo size.
Anybody know if this is true? anybody have a parts manual for the Aztruck, to look up the part number?

If these yokes are interchangeable then my search could include the yokes form the late model Aztecs.

Not the same part number. That does not mean that it wouldn't work. I would call Lucky Louque at Air Salvage of Dallas and ask him. I am sure that he has enough wrecked planes that he could take a measurement.

Do you think that there is enough material on the Aztec yokes to ream them out an eighth of an inch allowing it to be used on the Comanche?

Kristin-

The wall thickness is 1/4" (0.27 including plastic coating). Reducing the thicknees by 1/16" probably would not be an issue, but I was an electrical engineer. This is a good question for Hans.
