Engine Baffles

Engine Baffles

Postby John Wedge » Tue Mar 20, 2012 5:08 am

Was just looking around today at sources for engine baffles and saw Airforms Inc. recommended on another forum. Checked their site and they showed icon for PA-24 but no results. Sent message about baffles for 180 and received reply from Levi Ward, General Manager. They just added the Comanche icon last week, do not produce the baffles yet but intend to do so with a start date of Jan 2013. They need a customers set for about 4 weeks. So, anyway if someone with a 180 in a next winter upgrade is interested and wants to use your old ones for pattern then you can probably work a deal with them by contacting Levi Ward.

Matt Kurke of Comanche Gear, used to and may still, take a piece of your damaged baffles and "repair" them to like new.

I just threw this info out in case someone might want to try to work a deal with company that might not cost them a arm and two legs. It would be nice to have another source choice for parts. I would like to have a new set but at the cost I expect that I will get out of Comanche before it is a "required repair/replacement".
