Articulating pilot's seats

Which of the Piper articulating pilot's seats are compatible with the Comanches? I have heard mention of some using seats from other models, but not all are compatible. Any info would be appreciated.

Lance, Saratoga, Seneca, and I believe later model Arrow seats all will slide right on our Comanche tracks.

In my case, I have the Lance high back seats. The up-down motion is controlled by a air cylinder.

Archer, Warrior as well have the articulating seats.

Thanks Hans! Did you have any problems with interference with the side wall or making access to the fuel selectors more difficult.

Don, I have heard that Seneca and Lance seats fit. I am hoping someone will have tried the Cherokee seats and confirm whether they fit or not.

This week, I swapped an articulating right front seat from a '77 Archer into my '59 PA24 180. It went onto the rails with no problem, had no interference with side wall structures or fuel selector, but the front of the bottom cushion is about an inch higher and the seat sits about four inches farther forward so the rails would need a couple more holes behind the existing holes to let the seat travel back as far as the original seat. The original rails are long enough to allow that adaptation but I haven't run it by a DER yet. Do all the Cherokee seats mentioned in the earlier post have the more forward positioning?
