Shadin website very poor?

Postby cgbiggs » Mon Dec 05, 2011 4:40 am

Anyone ever feel, like I do, that Shadin has a very poor website. I'm really interested but they have no real useful information on the web. Can't research what each unit does, what it fits, can't do any research at all from them. Very disappointed. And NO, I don't want to have to call someone to do basic research on their products.

Cliff,

Some websites are better than others. I've seen worse.

Remember it is Osborne that owns the STC http://jlosborne.com/aircraft_mods.htm and Shadin that makes the gauge etc

http://www.shadin.com/sales/package.html tells you some info and the ops/tech manuals are online which I always consider a plus. We use a DigiFlo L Downloading the manual answers all my questions for the gauge. http://www.shadin.com/service/fuelflowtechpubs.html

Hope this helps.

I agree I've seen worse BUT I hate it when companies that make things so tough that you have to call them just to get basic info. Nothing on either site leads one to the required info for the "kits" or mentions what parts or part numbers are needed or even which flow meter or transducer should be used. A complete dirth of information. I've been in business myself (still am ) and I don't put up with having websites like this for my business. I like the 3 1/8" gage for my twinkie but I'd like more info before I decide to go that way or even call them. I'm sure they are losing sales because of these websites. They need a new marketing manager unless of course, the FF instrument business is so small for them that they don't really care. Which it could be.

Don't know about the market - do know the tech staff have been very helpful to me in the past.
