Landing Gear Clinic

Landing Gear Clinic

Postby Peter Soderquist » Mon Oct 24, 2011 6:19 pm

A copule of years ago, the Southwest Tribe hosted a landing gear clinic at Laughlin, NV. Hans, Matt, and Patt inspected a couple of dozen airplanes at the local FBO. I was thoroughly impressed with the thoroughness of thier work and was wondering if there are any plans to do something like this again. If so,I'll be there. Also, I would recommend any other Comanche ownere who can make it, to take advantage of this opportunity.

Thanks Hans.

Please send it to peterroy@earthlink.net

Thanks.

PS: I left Victorville last year. California finally got to me. Had a nice place, thought we were going to retire there; but the gooofballs in Sacramento forced us to reconsider. In one of his monologs many years ago Jonny Carson said, "When God made the United States it was flat." (To demonstrate this, Johnny had both arms extended, palms up, suggesting he was holding a large map of the US.) "Then he tipped it to one side and all the 'fruits and nuts' slid over to the California Coast." Johnny had it right!

Hans,
Please send me a copy of the landing gear guidelines. I recently had a 1000 hr. gear inspection and would like to compare the methodology of my mechanic and the clinic. I want the best wheels possible!
Thanks in advance,
Gary Simmers

I attended the CPPP clinic in Pendelton, Oregon a couple of months ago. Great session, highly recommend it.
