PA28-180 Jack Stands

Anyone have a set of Comanche jacks I can buy (or even just rent) for my Comanche 180, or a recommendation where I can buy a set?

There are a number of manufacturers of jacks. People have also made jacks. I defended a case that involved a C-310 that fell off homemade jacks and squished a mechanic. For that reason I bit the bullet and bought the good stuff -- Meyer Hydraulics. Aviall sells them and they have a warehouse in Dallas so you won't have to pay shipping. I paid about $1100 for the pair, new. There is a set of the short jacks, the ones you need, for sale on eBay.

You will also need an anchor in the floor or a tail weight with at least 400 lbs.

Mine were purchased from The Jack House... I don't recall the price... but they advertise in every issue of Trade-A-Plane.
