Kristin, you have picked a nice place or at least I think so although it might be too small and laid back for a Calif girl. We go there often for Sunday lunch from TPL in our 180 so might try to meet up with you there. I have read with interest your posts regarding Maggie and maint issues with Comanches and have wanted to meet you. In any event hope you enjoy it and Texas hospitality.

I was thinking Sunday brunch fly-in due to some weather forecasted ... but you know how forecasts are.

35 tie down spaces and they normally fill for breakfast and lunch.

Airport manager suggested the 9:30 ish to 10 arrival and I made a tentative reservation for brunch for 10:30 pending diner manager confirmation today. The diner is very popular with local folks and the hotel is full for this Saturday night.

Uncontrolled T82 airport with right pattern for no-wind runway 14 - watch for those who don't know this and fly a left pattern anyway. Left for 32.

The airport diner is so popular and only has 76 total seats so they don't do reservations - even for a party of 10.

Sunday 3/27 Ken and I are going to fly down anyway and have brunch at 10:30 with Kristin. Everyone else is also welcome, just no guarantees on parking or that we can sit at the same table.
