VEGAS VIPER

VEGAS VIPER

Postby Lessnick » Tue Jan 19, 2010 7:02 am

The VEGAS VIPER is finished. After a trip to Oxford Aviation in Oxford Maine and over 2,500 man hours later, I believe not only is the the finest Comanche in existence, but the finest four seat piston in the world. I'm posting some pictures so you all can judge for yourselves. Perhaps the best part of the refurb (I hate to even call it that) is what can't be seen. . . the soundproofing is AMAZING. It's as quiet as an airliner which, combined with the custom seats with 7 different foam densities, made the long trip back to Las Vegas a complete joy!

I think you've captured what a new (and possibly better) 2010 Piper Comanche would like like if it were still in production.

Mr. Piper would be proud.

Congradulations! Incredible!

Scott,

I believe that the "Bullet" resides at Oxford but it was built by F. Lee Bailey a long time ago. He was to be a speaker in Dayton. Did you see him there? F. Lee promotes Oxford. Hearsay has Oxford, with a reputation for jet work, is rather expensive. You asked the right question.

I have a call into Oxford and plan on having them do my interior this year. I will see what the price comes to that way.
