Rialto Fly-In update

Rialto Fly-in update

Hi, all,

It looks like we have a nice event shaping up and I wanted to clarify a few points about the program.

Fees: with so many people driving, I don't believe we'll need to rent any vehicles, so there will be no transportation charges. Registration will still be $5 per person plus $15 for each seminar attendee.

Friday - no need to arrive before 3 pm
Our primary goal on Friday is to make sure the stabilators on our subject aircraft will come off and not interfere with the day on Saturday. We will remove them between 3-4pm on Friday and slide them back on. For those who can't make it Friday, the process will be repeated at the beginning of the presentation on Saturday. At the end of the removal on Friday, we plan to retire to a local eatery to tell tall tales and talk about those who aren't there.

Saturday - our horn presentation is scheduled to begin at 8:30 am and in addition to Kristin and Hans, we are also happy to announce that Denny Haskins has indicated he will be in attendance.

We will have coffee/soda/water and be bringing in Subway sandwiches for lunch. For those of you bringing co-pilots along, we will also use the airport as a gathering point for the co-pilot outing to Victoria Gardens. We also plan to launch the co-pilots about 8:30 am.

We have dinner planned for 6:30 pm at Lucille's Smokehouse BBQ 12624 N. Mainstreet Rancho Cucamonga 909-463-7427 - it is located in Victoria Gardens which is located near the intersection of I-15 and Foothill Blvd. Use your favorite map program for more detailed directions.

IMPORTANT!! I NEED HEAD COUNTS !!

PLEASE EMAIL ME (address below, please don't reply here on the forum)

IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO :

1) eat lunch at the airport on Saturday or
2) join us for dinner Saturday night or
3) both

I need to provide head counts for lunch and dinner.

Sunday - no formal plans
We hope to have the aircraft all buttoned up by the end of the day Saturday, so other than the potential for finishing the aircraft, cleaning up the hangar or a couple of tribe meetings, there is no schedule for Sunday.

Art Scholl Aviation at the Rialto Airport (L67) is at 1700 W. Miro Way, Rialto, CA - GoogleMap Art Scholl Aviation for directions.

There are still rooms available at the Comfort Inn 13500 Baseline Ave, Fontana 909-463-5900... mention "Comanche Fly-in" to get the group rate of $79. http://www.comfortinn.com/hotel-fontana ... rnia-CAA70

Let me know if you have any questions.

I'm looking forward to seeing you there.
