Any tips on cleaning these windows ?

Postby ComBE » Tue Jul 14, 2009 8:09 pm

Hi, I have this on the PA39, the window shields contains like a little haze, like you can see on the picture. I tried several washing products but it's no help. The only way I can take it off is scratch it hard with a finger nail wich is a huge amount of time and effort. Does anybody knows this problem where it comes from and how to remove it more easely ?

The windows are only a few years old, but while the plane was in for changing alot ot items it has been standing outside for quite a while.

Meguiars makes several products under the "Mirrorglaze" brand, some of which are very mild polishing compounds. 3M also makes "Micromesh" which is a product for the smoothing and polishing of plastic surfaces.

Try a can of Plexus... Can be had from Sporty's.
