250 Single fork installation 337

250 Single fork installation 337

Postby WMD » Mon Sep 22, 2008 7:11 pm

Folks,
Looking at switching out my existing main struts on my 250 for the later model single fork struts.
Does anyone have a completed 337 for this installation that they would be willing to share. The local FSDO seems more willing to consider these types of changes when I show them that it has been done before.
Thanks,
Bill

Just do it as a log book entry. Minor alteration, Piper parts off, Piper parts on, nomodification needed.

Bill, I have a 337 that was approved and will be glad to share if you still need it. This is a worth while change provided that you also have the fairings installed behand the wheels. The combo got me 4-6 knts.

Yours truly, Eric Wick
