Steve,

You also have TCB composits. They make a composit spinner for the Twin. They are a little lighter than originals. I have them on for over 10 plus years with no problems. I have seen no performance increase.

Steve,

Whichever way you go, make sure it includes the more durable backplate by Hartzell.

The Twin's went on with the LoPresti cowl and that combination got speed improvement but don't know about the spinners themselves.

Personally I like the look but not the maintenance - harder to keep them looking good vs paint.

The do make a nice indicator of whether your props are in balance - just watch the tip in flight - if you can see it wobbling, time for a balance job.
