Scott Ducey's 50th Anniversary DVD

To All: I got my DVD this week and can't say enough positive things about it. I will be sending my $20.00 to Scott to cover the expense and his efforts in putting this together even without him asking. It is worth every penny.

Thank you Scott for putting this together. It's definitely a show that makes one feel proud to be an aviator and Comanche owner all in one.

As I sit here in Seattle today with 6 inches of snow on the ground watching this DVD makes me home sick for Oshkosh. This was my first year attending and I'm blocking out the necessary week next year to attend again.

I believe it would be a good idea to make the mass fly in from Watertown a regular event. Maybe it already is and I just don't know it.

I know what it takes to put something like this DVD together. The hours and talent so I say this with hesitation but I also think that it would be a good idea in future years for Comanche owners to take pictures along the way to and from and at Oshkosh and submit them to someone who could make this type presentation or at the least post them on the ICS web site. It makes fantastic viewing.

COMANCHE 50TH ANNIVERSARY VIDEO!!

Postby Scott Ducey » Mon Dec 22, 2008 7:21 pm

John, first of all thank you very much for your kind words. I do appreciate it. YOu are correct it did take many hours to put together, but it was a labor of love and I enjoyed doing it. Second, while I appreciate the offer, I really do not want any money for the effort. The fact that you enjoyed it is all that matters to me.

I agree with you about it being a 'regular event'. Believe it or not, while I did attend Oshkosh I did not participate in the fly in, and I am kicking myself for not doing so. I believe the plan is to do this again next year, but have not heard anything yet.

Again, thanks for your words and your offer. Have a great holiday, and I look forward to meeting you at Oshkosh.
