Any update on MT props for the Comanche? I have a 66 NA that I would love to put composition props on. PM me and I will pass on contact information if this could still work.

Well, I've been pushing for an MT stc for the 260 for some time. There are a number of Piper a/c out there with IO540's and stc's for an MT prop (see:http://www.flight-resource.com/Products.aspx)so why not the comanche? But, every time I inquire I'm told too much money for the approval..... Well there are a lot of 260's out there that will need props and the MT is a superior product....so don't get it. Note there is an stc for the 400 (less than 100 a/c made) but that was Charlie Horton's work.

Who are you talking to? The more people that bug them about it the better I would think. I would even be willing to put my twinco up for use for the STC approval. Who do I talk to in order to help push this through?

I went thru my folders and can't find the email reply from Flight-Resource. It wouldn't hurt to call them. Something about this doesn't add up. Looking at the aircraft for which their are stc's, there are some pretty obscure aircraft with less numbers than the Comanche. How did those guys get the STC?
