If you're asking me , I got mine from a Piper dealer 25 yrs. ago . I don't know where Northwest Aircraft got theirs .

The original kits had a "square corner" on the steel mounting structure for the lead counterbalance. This sharp corner served as a stress concentration point. Piper came out with a replacement arm that had the square corner rounded out to eliminate the problem.

You might want to examine your parts to see if this has been done.
