Altitude Change

Postby rstan » Mon Aug 18, 2008 11:40 am

Hi Zach,
I also have a IIIB that works perfect EXCEPT when I am in Altitude hold and change to a lower altitude the plane dives at about 1,000 fpm. Is there any way to adjust this rate ?
Thanks
Richard Stanley

Richard,
Yes there is. It is a rate pot on the control head behind the face plate. A good place to start would be a phone call to Muncie Aviation. Ask for Rocky or Kenny in avionics, and be ready for indepth questions and way more info than you want! The phone is 800-289-7141. If they ask, tell them I told you to call (i'm sure they will add it to the bill on my next visit....:-)
