From the President

Steve,
Sorry you feel that way. What I think you need to remember is that the brain trust of who answered the questions is still active and willing to help. Just because someone has stollen the writings, does not mean they have eliminated the authors or the knowledge base. Ask questions, get answers, do an archive search (yes the archives are still available through the search function). That is how this forum got the data it has and had. There is no reason it cannot be rebuilt better than before. All it takes is people asking and responding, and that is what we are doing.

I know you don't care about the reasons or the how of what happened, but understand one person with a very personal vendeta, for whatever reason, is only dangerous if credance is given to his rantings. He has stollen our property, but we can create most of it very easily again. The same questions are asked over and over, so the popular topics will rise first.

Zach is right Steve. The ICS has helped many hundreds on Comanche owners through years with various issues and will continue to do so. You can get answers to questions concerning the how to, where to, and when to, of about anything you would like to know about the Comanche airplane. Hang in there Steve, this is an unusual situation that none of us really wanted.

Hi Craig,
I personally wouldn't have a problem with a lifetime membership. However, as I remember these have to be voted on by the entire membership. I am certainly ready to work this out with Bill if he is willing.

It has been a very disappointing turn of events. The entire Comanche community benefits from the information that was, and to some extent, is available on this forum. With that said, I intend to remain a member of the ICS.

Luckily, I was able to download the old tip's PDF files which contain enough information to be worth the cost of a membership. The help from forum participants is icing on the cake, in my view.

It is disappointing that personalities have gotten involved in the best interests of Comanche owners. I hope that Bill and the directors can patch up their differences.
