Well its time to sell my very expensive hobby. My copilot, (son) is going to college in September and my
wife will only get into a plane if its for a vacation of at least a week. She gets very queasy just looking at a plane
My original mission for this airplane was to take the family on lots of weekend outings and family visits, but this didn't work out with
my wifes disposition to the airplane. I don't blame her, she was a real trooper trying everything from accupuncture to brass wrist bands to non drowsy
medications.
I am asking $89400 for it, which is $10000 below AOPA VREF value. The TT is 6728 hours. The Gear AD 77-13-21 (a) was done in 2007 and is good for another 775 hours, Part B was June 2013 (bungees and springs). The tail was inspected and new hardware and bearings installed 2013. The engines are higher time, left is at 1392 and right at 1517, but engines are running strong. I have 50+
hours of engine data to back up their health. The engines were topped 773 hours ago using the NU Chrome process. The props have 102 hours since factory new.
The Garmin 430W and Garmin 340 audio panel were installed new in 2010. The L3 stormscope WX1000+ has the ability to get heading information but is set up as a WX1000 without heading reference.
The Amsafe Airbag seatbags where just installed along with the Knots2U taxi and HID lights. Not that it matters but including the purchase in 2009, I have, not including regular maintenance and labour for installing various goodies, over 130k invested....
If anybody knows anyone that would like a ready to go Twin Comanche, please have them look at this one.
I will also include in the price a 10 hour, for insurance, dual instruction. During that time I will also warranty the airplane from nose to tail for any problems
that might crop up. ( I know there won't, so that why I can offer this Disclaimer: this warranty is only valid while I am in the airplane.. during instruction or delivery flight up tp 10 hours.
Thanks,
Gary
