Well, the long awaited Knots2U (formerly Miller) PA-30/39 Taxi Light is finally here!

Knots2U (K2U) has offered us a terrific Group Buy, so let’s go!

Below is the pricing break down for the group buy.

623.76 6-12 units
576.30 13 or more units

The price includes a standard 4509 bulb.

The Whelen LED is approved for this PA-30 / PA-39 taxi light.
Add 205.00 if you want the Whelen LED light, either taxi (PLED2T) or landing (PLED2L) bulb.

K2U has done a lot of testing with the Whelen LEDs. The Whelen taxi bulb (PLED2T) has a very wide spread which is what a taxi light is supposed to do. But on the Comanche with the wing lights they recommend the landing bulb (PLED2L) for the nose wheel. In their opinion the landing light bulb (PLED2L) makes a great taxi light with some punch down the center.

GROUP BUY UPDATE

To all of you who joined us and made this sale successful, Thank you. We easily made our goal to get the price down to $576.30 for the basic light assembly.

The list has been submitted to K2U. They will be in contact with each of you, most likely via e-mail where possible, to get shipping and payment information. They should begin shipping the week after Thanksgiving.

If one of you reports here as soon as you get one installed with an installation review that would be appreciated.
