Air Vent Knob Backplate

Air Vent Knob Backplate

Postby John Wedge » Thu Mar 24, 2011 4:23 am

Acft came out of new interior missing one of the small metal back plates that is mounted behind the knob on sidewall vent - plate has the "directional arrow" on it to show direction to turn knob to open vent.
Thanks

John,
Make a new one out of sheet aluminum. It is retained by a large nut and captures the sidewall so it does not interfere with the knob. Moodies stock graphics sheet has the proper placard for it. Definately address this with the interior shop!

Zach, thanks for reply. I had thought about making one but (due to being lazy) was hoping to find one as I did not know right off hand where to get the placard for it.
Thanks

Thanks Thomas, as (stated before due to being lazy) I have not made a replacement yet, I will try Jenkins.
