Comanche 250

I am looking for a Comanche to buy. I would prefer a 250. I would like to find one that has updated avionics including a GPS and AP to make a nice IFR platform. I am located in Nebraska. Thank you.

If you decide to look for a 400, I have a super low time, pristine, WAAS-equipped, coupled AP, no damage aircraft that will be put on the market soon. Less than 1900 TTSN! Engine at TBO, running strong, priced accordingly.

That engine cost is comparable to what I paid for my 400 with lower total time, 250 SMOH,low prop time, newer paint and interior, and a reasonable panel. Sad that values are so low.

Mark, Tim Talley at Clifton Aero - just north of Waco is my suggestion. He currently has my twin for its third annual there.

I got to see a bit of a pre-buy on another twin last week - the deal was not what the buyer wanted and the ferry pilot commented he felt Tim did a thorough pre-buy. The pre-buy was stopped after several pages of discrepancies.

The last overhaul "ballpark price" I got from a very reputable engine shop located in FL was $70K.
