Phil I actually went to a junk yard and found headrest frames that fit. It was during a complete reupholstery job so it was easy. Replaced the foam and covered them..they look great.

I found that this was not an easy item to replace with original parts.

Plus I was able to get the size head rests that worked for me. My wife likes to sit in the back seat with our small child. Large headrests blocked her view and so we opted for lower profiled ones that still provided head support.

I believe it was a small Japanese make like Toyota or Infiniti.. Believe it or not I just took measurements and went from junker to junker to find it My upholstery guy did the rest after I found the headrest cage that worked for me. I wanted low profile ones so the back bench passengers didn't feel claustrophobic.

As I recall both the space between the headrest pins and diameter of pins were an issue. If you are re-doing seats too you can scavenge female headrest pin receptacles from the junk car seats as well. If you don't care about being able to adjust the headrests you can avoid all of the diameter issues and just have the upholsterer permanently attach the headrest to the back of the seat.

Hope this helps.
