492-079 Twin vacuum manifold check valve

Looking for the 492-079 Twin vacuum manifold check valve.

This is the guy that sits in the nose front center top on the firewall where the little pleated filter is near. It keeps the vacuum system separate so there is not a single point of failure if one of the engines quit or a vacuum pump fails. At this point ours is intermittent but I'm not interested in waiting for full failure.

None at Webco or Air Parts or P3 or Preferred. Since there are rubber parts in there, I'm not surprised.

I'm hearing that Tempest and Rapco make replacements.
Does anyone here know for sure that a 1H5-2 will be FAA-PMA'd for a PA39?

Has anyone installed one or heard any feedback?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Well ...

After husband and I adjourned to our respective offices and began researching and spent four hours aggregate on computers and phones - found a photo we'd taken during our panel upgrade that shows a Piper 492-079 is, in fact, a 1H5-2.

Rapco overhauls customer property for $320 and a 2-day turn. What's the reputation for their work?
