Does anyone know where the kits called for in Service Bulletin 516 and be purchased. These are kits 760-277 760-281. Is Piper the only source? Are these kits still available?
Our engineer is assembling a 250 that has been recently imported and this service bulliten has not been done. Our CAA consider it to be an AD so he wants to get it sorted out.
Is anyone able to help?

I dare say you may have the best luck looking in a scrapping yard. I don't think you will find the kits new old stock anywhere at this point, but I may be wrong. Good luck.

Thanks for the reply. I kinda figured that might be the answer.
It seems that the CAA have agreed to relent on this occasion and will allow an alternative means of compliance.
