PA30 Electric fuel pumps

PA30 Electric fuel pumps

Postby Harnage » Mon Jun 05, 2017 4:22 pm

We have an intermittent circuit breaker tripping on the right electric fuel pump. PA30-C 1969 Model.
I read the article dated Feb 2005 on replacement options.
Is there any newer information or is the Feb 2005 info still good.

Thanks,
Harry

I have found a place in WI that will overhaul the pump for $400.
www.Aeromotossllc.com
Has anyone had experience with them?

Thanks,
Harry

Do all PA-30 fuel pumps howl so loudly that you go out of your mind if they’re on for very long, or is it just a thing peculiar to one plane?

Thx

We just had both of ours overhauled and they are still loud. I think it is the nature of the beast.
