Engine driven fuel pump for IO320 on a PA 30B turbo

Engine driven fuel pump for IO320 on a PA 30B turbo

Postby Jim Menconi » Sun Nov 11, 2012 9:43 pm

I have just gotten my engines running again after an extended annual and discovered the right engine is leaking fuel during operation. I disconnect all three drain lines to determine which on is leaking and discovered the Fuel pump is the leaker. Is it possible or even advisable to have it rebuilt? If not, has anyone had experience with this and just where to get a new pump? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,
Jim

The lear-romec pumps are rebuildable, and most fuel accessory shops will do them. I think the last one I did was in the $300 range.

Zack,
I have to pull it off and see what brand it is. Is the Lear the only one that works for that engine?
